Our pharmaceutical and healthcare team is looking for a savvy recruiting professional with digital creative and marketing staffing experience to help grow our business. We call our recruiters AGENTS because Aquent is a TALENT AGENCY that represents some of the world's most talented professionals in the UX, UI, Interactive, Visual, Product and Marketing space.

Your clients will be fortune 500 pharmaceutical and healthcare companies with locations all over the US. You'll recruit talented creatives from NY to LA to work on contract and contract to hire positions for those industry giants. One of our premier pharma/healthcare accounts is right here in LA so you'll visit them often in order to make personal connections and learn their business inside and out.


  • Develop and implement effective and innovative recruiting strategies for attracting and sourcing high-quality digital creative and marketing candidates for client companies

  • Develop talent pool through creative sourcing techniques including social networking, referral generation, networking, direct sourcing, and advanced internet sourcing

  • Participate in marketing events, user groups, and industry-specific interest groups to build relationships and a candidate pipeline

  • Establish and maintain solid working relationships with client hiring managers by understanding their needs

  • Work hand and glove with account directors in order to understand our clients' business and how we can help them alleviate their staffing challenges

  • Interview, screen, and match candidates to our clients' needs for contract and contract to hire engagements (we have a separate division that handles direct hire business)

  • Manage full life cycle hiring process with candidates and clients

  • Develop account strategies to grow our business

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in Business, Communication, Human Resources, Project Management or a related discipline preferred

  • 2-5 years demonstrated success placing temporary and temp to perm positions preferably in the creative and marketing space or in tech staffing

  • Account management skills are critical

  • Experience working in an MSP and VMS environment is helpful

  • Experience working with large national accounts and interfacing with c-suite executives is preferred

  • Demonstrated recruiting experience leveraging social networking avenues such as LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter

  • Professional experience in the design and/or marketing discipline a big plus

  • Knowledge of new technologies, design methodologies and design/marketing industry trends

  • Ability to identify quality design talent and assess portfolios

  • A “do what it takes to get the job done” attitude

  • Excellent customer service, account development, and relationship-building skills

  • Strong negotiation/closing skills and creative follow-through skills

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

  • Most of all, a passion for marketing, design, and technology!


  • Proven capability to succeed in a matrix business environment

  • Previous recruiting exp highly desired (2-4 years is ideal!)

  • Business to business service and sales exp highly desired

  • Subject matter expertise or industry background

  • Proven ability to network effectively to grow/build relationships
