We are seeking a Director, Aquent Marketing to join our growing marketing team!

Summary


The Director, Aquent Marketing will be responsible for the development and execution of the marketing strategy for the Aquent A500 business unit. The successful candidate will develop messaging and execute segmentation and campaign strategies that meet marketing and sales goals, driving overall growth of the business.

The director, reporting into the Head of Marketing, will work closely with senior business unit leadership, and verticalized sales teams to ensure alignment and goal achievement. He/she will define segments, create messages, and work cross-functionally, within marketing and with sales, to execute campaigns to develop brand and demand for the business unit. Strong, demonstrable experience in Account-based Marketing (ABM) is critical. The director should have a very successful track record in developing and executing account-based marketing strategies, in alignment with sales, that scales the growth of a multi-hundred million dollar business unit.


Ideal candidates will have a proven, successful track record in scaling growth using modern B2B marketing strategies and tactics, including digital marketing, direct marketing, and events. A data-driven approach to segmentation, and analyzing results, is critical. Strong marketing, planning, analytics, communications, and writing skills are critical. An ability to be strategic, creative, and be results-focused is equally critical. The Director, Aquent Marketing should also be able to act globally in a fast-paced, results-driven environment; create and execute initiatives on time; and display the necessary innovation and creativity in their role.

Responsibilities


  • Develop account-based (ABM) marketing strategies and programs in a targeted and data-driven way while achieving both short-term and long-term goals

  • Drive segmentation strategies, and execute on them, to drive scalable growth

  • Scale marketing strategies and campaigns across multiple vertical markets to drive deeper account penetration and acquire new customers

  • Data-driven decision making to determine segmentation strategies across verticals, accounts, and roles. Ability to use data to analyze results and take responsibility for visibility into sales follow up of marketing generated leads

  • Drive online and offline marketing programs and campaigns, working cross-functionally within marketing, to achieve results

  • Report weekly and quarterly on event performance and results


Requirements

  • 7 - 10 years of experience in a Director of Marketing role, driving scalable growth of medium to large business

  • Demonstrated ability to define and deliver on KPIs in support of marketing goal achievement

  • Outstanding communication, analytical, and presentation skills, both written and verbal.

  • Account-based marketing mindset with an ability to segment and create targeted messages that engage customers and prospects

  • Understanding of modern B2B marketing and the marketing analytics that support it

  • A combination of strong digital and offline marketing experience

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English

  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external teams

  • A self-starter, yet collaborative enough to harness great ideas and deliver results

  • Strong business acumen and executive presence

  • Ability to work productively cross-functionally, particularly with sales, as well as a small team environment

  • BSc degree in Marketing, Communications or relevant field
