About this role

Aquent is the world's largest and most successful DIGITAL, CREATIVE and MARKETING staffing firm. We're hiring a Managing Sales Director in our Seattle office who will help grow revenue and expand our footprint with one of our largest technology clients, while delivering phenomenal customer service and experience.

In this role, you'll build the overarching sales strategy, lead account directors and own your own portfolio of business development. In short, you'll act as a sales manager and an individual contributor helping Aquent grow our business with this highly valued technology client.

This qualified candidate will be an inspiring leader with demonstrated skills building sales strategies, consistent individual sales contribution, leading account directors and building a cohesive team of driven, highly successful contributors.

Now onto the job description. This leadership role is absolutely critical to our growth, so our Managing Sales Director, has some big responsibilities:

  • Successful track record in client services: understanding the client's business and setting and managing client expectations.

  • Successful track record of developing & executing business development strategy, areas of opportunity and a high close ratio.

  • Build and maintain C-level relationships within key accounts

  • Understanding of project management methodology and leveraging the PMO for solution architecture, compliance and KPI reporting

  • Ability to accurately architect our staffing and/or managed services solutions and identify the approach, resources, and tools required while leveraging internal experts and delivery.

  • Demonstrated ability to select, manage and lead resources in a team-oriented environment

  • Ability to work independently with minimal input from direct management

  • Manage contractual obligations

  • Build and leverage global relationships

  • Identify and communicate sales methodology for industries

  • Prior experience selling into Fortune 500 companies and managing a book of business in excess of $20M.

  • Business development experience with staffing and/or managed services.
